Our Program

HUA aims to build a strong foundation for student-athletes on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

Football

HUA will offer student-athletes a comprehensive high school football experience throughout the calendar year. We aim to start on-field offseason workouts by the end of April at McLaughlin Park, followed by strength and conditioning sessions in June at Krank Brooklyn, the program’s official strength and conditioning staff, led by Dan Salazar. The program will schedule local competition (city, public, private) throughout the regular season. The team will practice three to four times a week, with games on weekends.

Academic Advisory

Huddle Up Academy plans to connect student-athletes with academic assistance that best suits their needs through partnerships with other programs in the community. HUA looks to partner with Brooklyn Youth Sports Club and the Beacon Program in North Brooklyn, utilizing their programs that assist with critical thinking skills and daily class prep.

Community Service

Student-athletes will participate in various community service projects throughout the season to help foster a connection and appreciation for the borough of Brooklyn.
