Welcome to Huddle Up Academy
Our program was founded to help ensure that every New York City student-athlete who wants to play tackle football in high school has the opportunity to do so. Across the city, many students attend schools that do not have tackle football programs. As a result, talented and motivated student-athletes are left without access to the brotherhood, mentorship, and opportunity that the sport provides.
Delivering a comprehensive football experience, Huddle Up Academy is a community committed to helping young men reach their potential on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
Huddle Up Academy requires that student-athletes commit to every aspect of the program, with attendance expected at athletic, academic and community service-related events.

Believing in the value of tackle football, Huddle Up Academy advances the social, academic, and athletic development of New York City student-athletes who do not have access to the sport through organized competition, academic tutoring, mentorship, and community service.
HUA provides student-athletes with a comprehensive high school football experience throughout the calendar year.
We connect student-athletes with academic support through partnerships with community organizations.
Student-athletes participate in various community service projects throughout the season to help foster a connection and appreciation for their community.
